Valéry Sigalevitch est né en 1950 à Simferopol (Crimée). Il était l’élève du Professeur Leah Zelikhman à l’école spéciale de musique du Conservatoire de Leningrad puis du Professeur Véra Gornostajeva au Conservatoire Tchaïkowsky de Moscou. Nikita Yujanin et Pavel Serebriakov furent ses consultants. Il quitte l’Union Sovietique en 1977 et émigre en Israël. Durant les deux années suivantes, il étudie avec Nikita Magaloff à Genève et avec Arie Vardi à Tel-Aviv.
Valéry Sigalevitch was born in 1950 in Simferopol (Crimea). He was a pupil of Prof. Leah Zelikhman at the Special School of Music at the Leningrad Conservatory, then, studied at the Tschaikowsky Conservatory of Moscow with Prof. Véra Gornostajeva. Nikita Yujanin and Pavel Serebriakon were his consultants. In 1977 he left the Soviet Union and emigrate in Israel. For the next two years he studied with Nikita Magaloff in Geneva and with Arie Vardi in Tel-Aviv.
